Join Casey Herd in the studio to learn a short character role in an actual ballet. We will be rehearsing a piece with a professional dancer from the Dutch National Ballet where you can learn the secondary acting role. Whether you are an experienced dancer or learning ballet for the first time, we will tailor it to you and teach it to you step by step.
Once we have the steps in working order we can begin putting them on the music. After that, we will talk about the artistic intention of the role and finally put it together for a run-through as if we were preparing it for the stage. The whole process will take 1.5 hours and will give you a clear idea of what it takes to learn ballet and how to get it ready for a performance.
This package is tailored to the true connoisseur, to an individual for whom the visual aspect of the ballet is not enough – a lived experience of the art from the inside of the rehearsal space is unforgettable. It is art in and of itself – to play a role upon the stage within the art that you so love.
